Stinks in the City

Paul's buddy at work warned him that NYC stinks in August. I read that NYC produces 11,000 tons of waste PER DAY. It's not all collected every day. The August heat ferments it and the city smells. Ick. I actually try to stand near smokers because their smoking masks the other smell.

This brings me to another point.

Aren't you glad you used Dial? Don't you wish everyone did?

YES I DO!! I wish everyone bathed and used deodorant. But sadly, this isn't the case. And the summer temperatures only make it even more obvious. Sends me hunting for smokers again.

No pics. Who'd want to look at something stinky anyway?

  1. Reminds me of Luanda, where in some stores they sell deoderant in a locked glass case, like it's jewelry or something. And very few people use it, especially our poor drivers who make so little money that they wouldn't squander any of it on something as frivolous as deoderant.
